Alrighty, so now that I've finally finished exams (:D :D ) - which weren't all that bad, I'm back to divulge the current joys in my life. At the moment I am very happy. I'm usually not happy, which is pretty sad, but right now I'm feeling really happy and carefree. Perhaps it's because exams are over, all that hard work has now paid off, and the heavy stress and worry that goes along with them has been lifted... Actually I'm more than 100% sure that's why, but I'm also really excited about

this:

This, being an insanely cute thing called decoden or デコデン. I don't even know what to call it other than thing. I suppose you could call it a craft or a style, but I think I'll just refer to it as a thing for now. Anyways, the word deco-den comes from, DECOration and DEN meaning phone. Basically it's composed of some kind of gadget - be it a cell phone, iPod, gaming device, whatever (I've even seen make up brushes and USB sticks decorated :D) - encrusted in Swarovski, rhinestones, plastic and clay cabochons, pearls, glitter and basically anything kawaii (or "super cute").

I am in love with this stuff. I've been glued to my iPod and laptop screens looking at thousands of cute teensy-tiny plastic hearts, kitties, cakes, teddy bears, bows, flowers, cookies, strawberries etc. And that doesn't inlcude the gemstones, pearls, crystals and rhinestones. I could go on all day... I've been begging mom and dad to let me get them, but the only problem is that you can only get most of the materials online... My parents have an -ish with putting credit cards online -__- But all hope is not lost! I will continue to nag them until they bend - that's what you gotta do to get what you want, right? Not to sound like a spoiled little girl here, but I reeeaaally want to decorate all my stuff like this!
